陆由俊，男，1971年出生，安徽无为人，中国科学院国家天文台研究员，中国科学院大学天文与空间科学学院岗位教授，中国天文学会、北京天文学会会员。1997年获得中国科学技术大学博士学位。1997年至1999年在中国科学技术大学任教，1999年至2008年先后在普林斯顿大学天体物理科学系、加拿大理论天体物理中心、加州大学伯克利分校天文系、圣克鲁兹分校天文系等地访问研究。于2008入职中科院国家天文台工作至今。研究成果发表于国际知名期刊，包括ApJ，MNRAS, A&A等，总计110余篇。先后承担国家自然科学基金项目5项、参与国家重点研发计划2项。
