射电巡天、瞬变天体、大射电望远镜SKA与FAST等
彭勃，湖南人，天体物理博士，射电天文技术团组首席。2000年晋升研究员、2008年FAST工程副经理、2018年中国科学院FAST重点实验室主任。共同发起、发展SKA中国概念KARST,提出、研制其先导项目FAST。长期从事射电巡天、瞬变天体、巨射电星系、望远镜技术与方法等研究。主持完成国家自然科学基金（重点）、科技部973项目等，获2017年度中国科学院杰出成就奖。发表第一篇SKA选址、FAST科学目标、FAST方案封面论文等逾150篇。
