邹虎,男,1984年出生,湖南娄底人,中国科学院国家天文台巡天观测和三十米望远镜研发团组研究员。主要从事星系形成演化研究和大规模测光及光谱巡天。主持和参与了多项国家自然科学基金项目和973项目,发表研究论文80多篇。研究方向包括银河系星团和潮汐星流、近邻星系、星系 形成及演化和星系团等。先后负责了国内最大的两个图像巡天项目:南银冠u波段巡天和北京-亚利桑那巡天(BASS)。深度参与了斯隆巡天(SDSS-IV)和暗能量光谱巡天(DESI)。目前是SDSS IV的正式成员和DESI项目董事会成员。参与中国空间站巡天望远镜的数据系统研制并负责主巡天测光工作。参与南极台址监测,获得江苏省科学技术奖三等奖。参与LAMOST早期巡天,发表首批星系研究课题。
