刘彬,男,中共党员,中国科学院国家天文台副研究员,FAST运行和发展中心科学观测与数据部副主任。2014年获得中国科学院大学博士学位,同年入职中国科学院国家天文台工作至今。2016年至2018年在西弗吉尼亚大学从事博士后研究。2018年获得中国电子学会科学技术奖(科技进步)二等奖,同年评为项目副研究员,2024年晋升为副研究员。

主要从事射电阵列数据处理方法方面的研究,为FAST核心阵建设开展关键技术研发和早期科学预研。研究成果发表于国际知名期刊,总计30余篇,申请专利10余件。先后承担国家自然科学基金项目2项、主持国家重点研发计划1项、参与2项。
